Stainless screen adaptors are made to join PVC or other plastic pipe materials to a stainless steel wedge wire screen, such as what Johnson screen manufactures. By using this jointing system you have a flush outside joint the same size as the bore casing and a jointing method that can be easily unthreaded if removing from the bore.
