Centralizers are designed to keep the bore casing and screens centralized in the centre of the bore to facilitate proper cementing and also when using filter sand allows a uniform gravel pack around the screen. The centralizer must have enough strength in the legs to push the bore casing into the centre and not allow the legs to collapse. Centralizers should not impede the installation and gravel packing of the bore. Material should not allow centralizers to corrode away. They should be place every 3 or 6m (10' or 20") depending on the length of casing. When using flush threaded casing and screens the centralizer is designed to fit on the male thread and held into place when the casing is screwed into place. Our Poly centralizers are made to insure no corrosion takes place when installed.
