Screw in and screw on caps where designed so that you could have a cap installed on the first piece of pipe going down the hole and needing no special tools or Glue, specifically used in environmental situations, again these caps allow a flush pipe as in the push in or push on cap. The other main advantage is you only need to carry Male / female casing and screen on the truck and no matter what pipe is first the cap will fit.
